CHIANTI DOCG FIASCO – GONFALONE

A wine renowned worldwide, produced in a unique, incomparable area which, taken as a whole, represents Italy’s largest territory for its top-rated D.O.C.G. Our D.O.C.G. Chianti has a distinct bouquet and a smooth, harmonious taste, both dry and fresh, making it especially well suited to accompany meals of roasted game, shish kabob and grilled meat, as well as aged cheeses.

The grapes used to produce it: 90% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo Nero. The wine is best served at a temperature of roughly 18° C. and the bottle should be uncorked at least an hour in advance.

Tasting notes: Characterised by an intense ruby red colour typical of this grape variety. The nose offers delicate and persistent notes of red berry fruits such as blackcurrants, blueberries and cherries. Full, velvety and persistent, aiming for an elegant overall harmony.

Pairing: pairs well with red meat roasts, game, stews and aged full-flavoured
cheeses.

Nero D’Avola – Baglio del Sole – SICILY – EXCLUSIVE

Nero d Avola Baglio del Sole

The world has now discovered Nero d’Avola, Sicily’s most important, even if not the easiest of grape varieties. Rare in its kind, this pure Nero d’Avola owes its existence to a careful selection of grapes with the aim to produce a high quality and affordable wine, yet exclusively characterised by the qualities of this native grape variety.

Dark ruby red. Generous aromas characteristic of this variety, reminiscent of red plums and with notes of Mediterranean scrub, intersected with very pleasant shades of black pepper. A wine that impresses with the integrity of the fruit, fleshy, rich, consistent with the typical characteristics of the variety.

As is the case with the Nero d’Avola variety, Frappato also demonstrates Sicily’s full winemaking potential, able to produce a powerful, persistent and very elegant wine that inspires the taster from its very first olfactory notes, which characterise it in an unmistakable manner. Distinguished by its ruby red colour and a fresh bouquet of red berry fruits and sweet spices. Round on the palate, with a lively acidity, the wine is well balanced and persistent.
