The wine is then aged in small oak barriques for a period of 12 months. It is then left fine in the bottle for a further period of time. The wine has good structure and body, the colour is intense ruby red, and after one year of ageing it acquires shades of garnet. The bouquet is fruity with hints of vanilla.
