Description
This wine is produced from the best Nebbiolo grapes from the Vigna Manzola vineyard situated in the town of Treiso d’Alba, in the Barbaresco production area.
The fermentation of this wine is carefully controlled; it is then aged in oak barrels and small barriques. After this, it is left to fine in the bottle for a short time. The wine has a lovely garnet/ red colour with hints of orange. The intense bouquet reminds one of dry flowers and violets. It is a full-bodied wine with a dry, vigorous, austere yet delicate, velvety flavour. It is suitable for long periods of ageing. To enjoy this wine at its best you should open the bottle and keep it at room temperature for several hours before serving it.
